How old in Virginia to serve alcohol?

I was wondering how old you have to be in Virginia to serve alcohol? I know in Idaho (where I am now, but I’m moving to Va) you have to be 19 to serve alcohol…. Does anyone know that answer for this? And can you be a bartender at 19 or just a waitress that serves drinks? I’m wondering becuase I wait tables, and there’s alot more money to be made if you’re able to serve drinks to you customers…. and help would be great! Thanks!

I am assuming you are inquiring about drinking age
some places in Canada its either 18 or 19.
but I heard it was 21 years old.

It is the same age almost everywhere in the US to serve alcohol which is 18. There are one or two states that have higher ages, but im not sure which ones. Waiting table you should be able to serve alcohol, but being a bartender is usually 21.
