Thank you for capturing a classic moment with true superstars. How sad is what we are subjected to, that poses as music, now?
I thought each generation was supposed to surpass the one before?

a wonderful video!!, a must!, frank and dinah are a magical tandem.

some of Mannie’s friends. part 8. The b/w version of this DS asks FS if he remembers the first time they sang this medley together. So rehearsed, yes for sure, but the ad lib was pure ad lib. They were so good together. I can’t watch this without smiling.

i wish i was born on those times!
listening to this makes mi so happy!
so excited!

foowingkeat on 24 June, 2007 at 5:41 am #

one cant help but wonder how much of this performance was actually rehearsed and how much ad-libbed.

nxkocom on 24 June, 2007 at 9:21 am #

such a smooth voice on frank sinatra, and the chemistry with dinah shore is just so great! and this makes me smile aswell :)

shaddyshadow on 25 June, 2007 at 1:12 pm #

franky rocks

Dinah was elegance and grace personified and Frank was “the voice”. No doubt can exist that Frank and Dinah were two of the greatest singers of their day. My mother gave me some old Frank and Dinah records and I was hooked. Everybody who knows anything about music knows that Frank was the greatest singer of the 20th century, but less is known about all the wonderful things that Dinah did in her life. There was a lot more to her than the Burt Reynolds affair and seeing the USA in a Chevrolet.

Great clip. Thanks!

caliguy92 on 3 July, 2007 at 8:00 am #

Isn’t it great to be able to watch this fabulous duet from the early 1960’s? It’s amazing how the hippies screwed up the country only a few years after this video was aired on TV in 1960…now we can’t watch stuff like this on TV anymore…because Hollywood is full of crazy liberals and ex-hippies…if only history went the opposite direction in the mid to late 60’s, then this nation would be great

This was most enjoyable. Thanks for the great share, Nick!

Geffreyy on 8 July, 2007 at 4:14 am #

Well you can still buy CDs… It’s not like their music has been wiped from the face of the earth.

Pidoda on 11 July, 2007 at 2:40 pm #

Absolutely fabulous! that’s real glamour with a couple of real ARTISTS, ther is not a thing like that today, Frank is and will be forever the guide to any serious singer and the elegance of Dinah is legendary, my love and respect to these people for making me feel happy once again, God Bless You!!!

keysersoze78 on 11 July, 2007 at 3:58 pm #

Oh my god! How cool is that!! Sinatra definitely
” The Man “! What can you say about nowadays music? Nothing comes even close to Sinatra….plus have you ever seen a cooler person smokes while singing?

bubblegumlipgloss6 on 12 July, 2007 at 5:58 pm #

He has the most amazing voice..ever

infairverona16 on 14 July, 2007 at 8:24 pm #

omg that made me so incredibly happy

phxbury on 16 July, 2007 at 4:24 am #

I’m 25 and I know no other artist other than Sinatra these days. I can sing along to practically ever Capitol and Reprise song he ever recorded. I just wish I could have seen him in concert in the 60’s. NO one comes close in my opinion.

yennevelt on 17 July, 2007 at 7:46 am #

Thank God they saved this video of these two great singers, who are now both gone forever. I could eat Frank with a spoon, and Dinah is not to be dismissed either. I wish they were still that young and could go on forever singing these great old standards.

hillsidebeesknees14 on 20 July, 2007 at 11:02 am #

i’m 16 too. i don’t even listen to most modern music. i’m tire of gagging just listening to it.

eepghd on 21 July, 2007 at 8:13 pm #

What “wonderful music around now”? The only good music being produced are old songs being re-done. It’s like people have forgotten what music is. And I gleaned this at 16, my age.

80spreppysteve on 22 July, 2007 at 2:11 am #

two of my favorite singers and to see them together singing wow.i had such a major crush on dinah shore as a kid

hillsidebeesknees14 on 24 July, 2007 at 2:49 pm #

i’m 16 and i couldn’t aree more. i should have been born 50 years ago.
