This scene will be one of the most memorable scenes in TV history. Thanks for the memories Boston Legal! I wish it went on for many more years. It would have been interesting to see this friendship develop as they grew older. When watched years from now, this series will still have the same impact on those who will see it. This friendship was such that i can’t help but wonder if it rubbed off on Bill & Jimmy at all. In a way, it would be nice to know that they are friends too, in real life.
The friendship of Denny Crane and Alan Shore was beautiful. It was devoid of pretenses, self-righteousness and judgement. There was no envy nor rivalry between them. It was just two distinguished and highly successful gentlemen who were not ashamed to show how much they valued each other as best friends. Mutual respect too. This is what true friendship means… the certainty that you can count on each other through good times and bad. It’s enviable. James and William were fantastic!

That was beautiful. This is my favorite show ever, and Alan and Denny have the one of the most developed friendships of two television characters I’ve ever seen.

What does he say at :33 ???? I have listened 4 times and can’t understand what Denny says. I just started watching this year. Sorry I have not been hooked in before. Will definitely rent the other seasons and catch up!
