Drifter asked:

what’s a good fishing lure for fishing on the shore in Florida(miami/eastern shore)
and what fish can be caught with the lure.

size/color/pattern/model/name(of the lure) would be greatly appreciated

Usually something shiny and bright will get you something.

Your basic spoon of a medium size would be a safe bet. I’d go silver or gold. Also, lead-headed feather jigs are pretty good too. As for size and weight that really depends on the surf. You want enough weight for it to sink and not get easily swept away in the surf but not much more. So it depends on the day and how much the surf is moving. As for fish, barracudas should be in the surf along with jacks and probably some others. You’d even get some snook in the surf near an inlet.
